Raise of hands if you’ve experienced the bison road block! This beast of an animal is a popular Yukon sighting, but these two prairie girls have fond memories of the bison growing up in Winnipeg. They were a rare sight, but childhood memories flood back when we think back to countless visits to the Manitoba Museum of Man and Nature. We were greeted by towering (for two grade school kiddos) life-size replicas of the bison and it has always left a lasting impression on us.
