"We're just two millennial moms trying to dress our kids in cute clothes."
Wild North Collective
We are two moms who live three time zones away from one another that just wanted to have fun and unique clothing options for our babies. Wild North Collective quickly evolved into something bigger as we made the decision to open up our designs to toddler and adult apparel.
Genny & Sarah
Born and raised in the Prairies, Sarah and I (Genny) met in the mid-90s while attending elementary school. We did everything together: traded stickers, sung in multiple choirs, morning marathon club, student council, and any other extra-curricular that involved sports – we were there!
After losing touch after I moved to Toronto in the late-90s, it wasn’t until Facebook came into our lives that we re-connected. We managed to visit each other in our respective provinces and kept in touch through text messages.
Then, I had my son. That’s when our conversations became even more frequent. From diaper explosions to sharing hilarious “Yup, my kid really just said that” moments – you name it, we talked about it! One night, the topic of baby clothing arose: Sarah lamenting the limited options available in the Yukon, and me responding in just pure shock. I couldn’t believe there weren’t more options for babies and young children! It was in that moment we saw an opportunity to not only fill that need, but also bring to life some of our wild and fun design concepts!
Since that night, our tiny idea for tiny humans has become much more. We have so many fun collections in the works that we can’t wait to share with you all.
So, thank you for joining us on this adventure!
